The Great South Aussie Adventure

Produced by TECKAIR

The Great South Aussie Adventure by Teckair - click here to enter Teckair website

From the very start right through to the end, this production has you hooked!

This is a captivating 'real life' video story of a husband and wife team, Richard and Sara, travelling in a motor home from Queensland to South Australia. It's a remarkable journey through many towns and places of interest throughout South Australia, where most of the footage of their travels and experiences is well documented on Video. Richard And Sarah visit towns such as Waikerie, Historic Burra, Port Lincoln and all the fascinating events that take place there (including the famous Tunarama festival), Mt Gambier, the mighty Murray River and many other appealing places of interest and towns in between.

This is a compelling and engaging insight into the lifestyle of traveling on the road...the viewer becomes immersed into the journey, it almost feels as though you are there on the trip along with Richard and Sarah - A truly inspiring video!

Adding to the excitement of this production is some absolutely breathtaking flying scenes of the spectacular scenery from the air! Housed in the trailer behind the motor home is a small single seat ultralight aircraft, which Richard takes up for a flight from several different places along the way, offering some stunning aerial footage that is just amazing!

A truly inspirational Video production that has the viewer enthralled from beginning to end.

This production is certainly more than good enough to be telecast on mainstream TV and would be particularly good for overseas viewers! Do yourself a favour and purchase a copy of this video production from Teckair and experience the sheer fun of traveling in a motor home with an ultralight aircraft on tow.

I thoroughly enjoyed this DVD and just didn't want it to end! It would be great to have more documentaries like this one...no setups, just real life drama on the road with all of its challenges, like untimely breakdowns, running repairs on the bus and some wild weather; as well as the many rewards along the way, such as witnessing some amazing scenery, flying events and meeting fascinating people. Richard and Sarah even have footage of the work they gained along the way to help pay for the journey.

I rate this Video production 10 out of 10 - I loved every minute of it!

The Great Eastern Flyin 2006

Produced by TECKAIR

The Great Eastern Flyin - Click Here to enter Teckair SiteThis DVD Captures all of the action and excitement of this annual event held at Evans Head Memorial Aerodrome on the New years long weekend.

The production is very well filmed and edited, with some very good interviews with pilots talking about thier aircraft, which include the Mustang P51, Supermarine Spitfire, Fisher Koala, Ryan and the CT4.

In this DVD the viewer is able to get up close and personal with some truly great aircraft, capturing the feel of the day the viewer feels as though they were there!

Some good footage of aircraft landings and take offs, as well as some exciting fly-by's and aerial displays...a thoroughly enjoyable video production.

The run time is around 60+ minutes and is entertaining from begining to end.

I rate this video production 10 out of 10 - a very well captured and produced aviation video of an amazing fly-in event that 'The Great Eastern Fly-in' is! For those who love aviation but who are unable to make it to fly-in's such as this one, this DVD is a GREAT alternative to actually being there!

Australian Pilots and their Ultralight Aircraft (Volume 1)

Austalian Pilots and their Sports Aircraft - Click here to enter Teckair Site Australian Pilots and their Ultralight Aircraft is a 3 part video series. This video/DVD series is produced by Teckair (www.teckair.com.au).

This is a very interesting series which contains interviews with the pilots and their ultralight/recreational aircraft. Through the video series you learn about the build, price, any modifications, engines (and so forth) of these ultralight aircraft.

Volume 1 features some interesting aircraft like the:

Zephyr kit built 2 seat aircraft, Boorabee MKII, The amphibious Seahawk MK IV, Single seat Chinook WT II, Tornado Gyrocopter, a Gike (modified Trike to test gyro blades), KR2, Lightwing, The Flying Wing (very interesting aircraft!), Minicab, and the Karasport.

This first video is not too bad a video, but for me, is not as good as the following 2 (Vol. 2 & 3). Probably my main critisism (for want of a better word) would be that there is not enough flying action and there is (for me) too much footage spent in the interview with the pilots on this first volume. I would have liked to have seen more flying footage dubbed over the interview with just a few eddited bits with the pilot on the screen talking. Just a minor critisism - otherwise I thought it was very good, and certainly educational.

Not a bad start to the series...A very interesting video indeed. Ultralight and homebuilt aircraft lovers will not be disappointed.

Volume 1 DVD runs for 1 hour...not a long video, but well worth it!

If you are into ultralight aircraft, particularly kit built aircraft, this DVD will interest you. Some interesting flying shots with a camera mounted to the front of an ultralight as it flies around South Australia...it might be more interesting if there was more than one camera used inflight and show some different views/perspectives of the flight - but not too bad overall.

I would give this Video/DVD 8/10 - overall very good for the audience it is intended for.

Australian Pilots and their Sport Aircraft (Volume 2)

Australian Pilots And their Sports Aircraft Volume 2 - Click here for more Volume 2 of the series Australian Pilots and their Ultralight Aircraft was a vast improvement on volume 1.

Volume 2 follows on nicely from the 1st, covering more of Australia's more interesting ultralight aircraft. In this 2nd volume there were some good interviews with aircraft owners and manufacturers. The video covered a range of aircraft from high performance aircraft right through to the cheapest of ultralights.

This production includes aircraft such as the:

Sonerai, Fokker Wulf 190, Bushmaster, Fisher Koala, Cobram Cobra, Storch, Fisher Classic, American Double Eagle, Stolight 2, UFO 3 - an amazing looking aircraft, LongEzy (my Fave), Sabre RVX 100 and a Porterfield Flyabout.

Again in this video production, as in the 1st, the pilots talk about the building, performance, cost and history of their aircraft - a really interesting viewing!

If you love ultralights and sports aircraft this video series is for you...with this 2nd volume impressing me more than the 1st volume did. Although not quite a 'professional' quality finish to the series, it is certainly a very good production. A great job by those involved in the production - my main critisism (only slight) is that there is a little too much zooming and panning used in this series, but again, only a slight critisism.

Running time for this Video is just over 65 minutes and is a very watchable video indeed.

The series has a genuine 'Australian' feel to it - I give Volume 2 of this series 9/10 and would recommend this to all Recreational and Sports Aviation enthusiasts.

Australian Pilots and their Sport Aircraft (Volume 3)

Australian Pilots and their Sports Aircraft - click here to enter Teckair site For me, volume 3 in this series is the best of the lot. I guess it can be expected that with each video improvements would be made.

Again, a very Australian feel to these videos and a very enjoyable viewing.

In this volume there were some of Australia's (maybe) lesser known recreational aircraft.

This volume contains some air-to-air and birds eye footage from hang gliders, the Moyes Dragonfly and the Breezy.

Again interviews are conducted with the pilots of some of these aircraft, which include:

The Breezy, Moyes Hang Glider, Moyes Dragonfly, Lightwing Speed, Terrier 200c, Skyboy and the TP3.

A very interesting part on hang glider towing operations are covered in this volume, as well as the glass cockpit system fitted to the Lightwing Speed (a very cool aircraft indeed!).

Running time for this volume is just over 60 minutes.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series of videos and hope that there will be more added to them as time goes by - lets hope for a volume 4 soon!

I rate volume 3 of the series at 9/10 - I really enjoyed watching this video, as I did the whole series. Im sure anyone who loves these types of aircraft and is interested in this type of flying will love to own this series - I highly recommend them!
